By accessing and using Garden Letters, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Garden Letters is a letter creation platform with floral cards, preset or AI backgrounds, preset music and a sealed-envelope opening experience. You can compose and preview drafts for free, and publish public letters with preset backgrounds and music after signing in. Free public letters do not include AI backgrounds. Private sharing and AI backgrounds require an eligible unlock for that letter. You choose public sharing or private sharing with a link and code.

To use certain features, you must sign in with a supported account. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activities that occur under your account • Providing accurate information • Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account

• Public letters can be published for free with preset backgrounds and music, without AI backgrounds. Public letters appear in the public garden and are visible to anyone. • A paid letter costs $4.99 USD, paid once through Stripe, with no subscription, and can be public or private. • Free public letters require an eligible unlock to become private or use AI backgrounds. You can delete a public letter at any time. • The price includes all designs, preset backgrounds and music, publishing, sharing, long-term storage and five successful AI background generations, whether or not you use AI. • Failed generations do not count. The allowance is cumulative for this letter, does not reset on edits and cannot be transferred to another letter. • Long-term storage has no scheduled expiry while the service operates; you can delete your letter. • New credits and welcome grants are no longer offered. Existing letters remain available. Every six unspent purchased credits can unlock one letter; gifted credits cannot be redeemed. Historical spending is allocated to purchased credits first, and smaller remaining balances are retained. • For payment or delivery problems, contact contact@gardenletters.net. Existing refund policies and applicable statutory rights are unaffected by this update. • Each approved public social post and each qualifying referral earns one free letter without AI backgrounds. A qualifying referral is a new user who registers through your link and saves a draft with a message. Each post and referred account can earn only one award. Awards unlock one letter, including private sharing without AI backgrounds, cannot be transferred, and are not restored after deleting a letter.

You retain ownership of the letters you write. By saving a letter, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and deliver it as needed to provide the service — including showing it in the public garden if you enable that option. You are responsible for the content you publish and for sharing private letter codes only with intended recipients. Do not use Garden Letters to harass, impersonate, or distribute unlawful content.

All site content, including text, graphics, logos, floral assets, and software, is owned by Garden Letters or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. AI-generated backgrounds are provided for use with your letters on our platform. You may not scrape, resell, or misrepresent our service or assets.

You agree not to: • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose • Upload or generate content that infringes others' rights or violates applicable law • Attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or disrupt the service • Use automated systems to access the service without permission • Share your account credentials with others • Circumvent private-letter access controls

Garden Letters is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that: • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free • AI-generated backgrounds will match your expectations • Shared links or codes will remain available forever AI outputs may be imperfect and are provided for creative and personal use only.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Garden Letters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
